Cable UP's Industrial line features a high-performance, yet rugged combination of low capacitance AES/EBU quality cable. The connectors are fitted with gold plated contacts for reliable professional use at a competitive price. Tip is wired to XLR pin 2, Ring wired to XLR pin 3 and Sleeve wired to XLR pin 1. This is standard professional balanced mono audio wiring and not suitable for unbalanced stereo connections.

One appropriate application for this cable would be for converting a balanced XLR male mic termination to feed an 1/8" (3.5mm) balanced input on a wireless belt pack transmitter. Not all 1/8" jacks are wired for balanced inputs, and some transmitters utilize proprietary connectors which look similar to 1/8". Check manufacturer specifications for the wireless system being used to determine compatibility.
