Optoma's DC300i integrates a flexible gooseneck arm with rotating camera head to capture and display colorful, vivid images from various angles with ease. Meanwhile, the compact, portable design lets presenters take and place the document wherever they need to have it. The auto-focus lens effortlessly helps instructors get clear images while the zoom in and out feature quickly allows users to see every detail during a presentation. Use the remote to adjust optical and digital zoom, split the screen, mirror images, adjust white balance and more.

Optical zoom makes objects appear closer by means of actual lens optics and so has better image quality. Digital Zoom makes the object 'appear' closer using processing but cannot change the quality of the image. The Optoma DC300i features 9x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom (total zoom 9 x 12 = 108). The document camera provides both a Visualizer mode (12 frames per second) or Video mode (22 frames per second) to give users the flexibility to fit video sharing to their needs.

Pressing a button automatically focuses the subject material under the document camera, freeing the presenter from having to manually focus the image continuously.
