How long have you been in business?

Spectrum Audio was founded in August 2002. We started out as an audio installation company in the Los Angeles, CA area and expanded from there. We still provide installation services contact us for more information.

Do you have a store?

No, we do not have a store. Most of our business is selling over the internet and over the phone. We ship from several warehouses located throughout the country. We believe our online only business model keeps us focused on providing you the best internet shopping experience possible.

Can I pick something up from your warehouse?

We cannot offer pickup except for certain larger televisions. This is limited to certain warehouses so please call us to find out more.

Are you going to try to sell me something when I call?

No! We are all non-commissioned customer service representatives here to help you with any questions you might have. Should we not know the answer to very specific product questions, we can most likely refer you to a manufacturer representative who can answer your question.

Is my credit card information secure?

Spectrum Audio uses the latest in SSL encryption technology to make sure your order is secure. Credit card numbers are encrypted before they reach our servers to provide an extra level of protection.

Additionally, every order is fraud screened by our security verification dept for a level of protection that surpasses other dealers.

How do I find out my order status?

You can check the stats of your order by logging into your customer account, simply go to 'My Account' on our homepage. You could also call us if you need further assistance.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive an email notification with your tracking number. You can also track the progress of your shipment while logged into your customer account 'My Account'. Otherwise you can visit the UPS or FedEx website to track your order.

How do I cancel an order?

If you decide to cancel your order, it is best to call us at 409-205-1179 or issue a support request. We try to ship out most orders almost as quickly as we receive them, giving us a very small window to cancel orders.

In many cases, our warehouse is packaging and shipping your order within minutes of receiving it. However, once an item ships, you can still refuse the shipment for a refund, minus any freight charges.

How long do you hold back orders?

We will keep the items on order until they arrive in stock or you advise us to cancel it.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico?

We do ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico via FedEx 2nd Day Air. If Ground is selected the order will be cancelled.

How long will it take to receive my order?

That all depends on the shipping method selected. Simply add an item to the cart, enter your zip code, and it will show you all shipping method, rates, and estimate delivery.

Due to freight lines, most of our stage lighting equipment usually takes 10-14 business days to ship.

Do you ship to PO Boxes and/or APO's?

Because most of our orders ship via FedEx, we do not ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses, besides international orders shipped with USPS

Where will my order ship from?

Your order will automatically ship from our warehouse closest to your shipping address, depending on inventory. Feel free to contact one of our customer service representatives to get more specific information.

Do you ship internationally?

YES, Spectrum Audio ships worldwide. Simply add the items to your cart and checkout. Shipping rates will be provided. All International customers will be responsible for any customs duties and taxes if applicable.

How do I know if my order qualifies for free shipping?

Free shipping is available on thousands of items throughout the store everyday. There are certain items that do qualify, such as oversized, hazardous, most consumer electronics products, orders shipping outside the us, for more info contact us. Alternatively, you can add an item to cart, then calculate shipping, it will let you if it qualifies for free shipping or not.

When will my credit card be charged?

When you initially place your order with us, we will authorize your credit card for the amount of the purchase. Once your order has been approved by verification, your card will be charged for the amount of the purchase.

Do you price match against other dealers?

Usually, No. Many competitors use shady practices such as selling foreign products, drastically marking up shipping, or using bait and switch techniques. Because we are an honest dealer, we cannot match prices when our competitors are using such deceptive techniques.

Our prices may not always be the lowest, but we try to balance that with quick shipping and excellent customer service. However, we are willing to price match certain "PRO" audio, video items.

Sales tax is charged on all orders shipping to Washington.

Do you sell used or refurbished items?

All of our items are brand new, factory sealed and come with the manufacturers warranty. Unless otherwise specified.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We accept purchase orders from approved organizations and government institutions. Spectrum Audio is now accepting PayPal as well.

How do I use Google Checkout?

Choose Google Checkout when you view your cart. If you've used Google Checkout before, all you need to do is provide your Checkout username and password to buy from us.

How can I confirm a PayPal shipping address?

Add a credit card to your PayPal account. PayPal will confirm the credit card billing address (the address where you receive your credit card statement).

  • Apply for PayPal Buyer Credit. If you're approved, the address on your application will be a confirmed address.

  • Alternate address confirmation. This process takes several days and is only available for U.S. accounts. To learn more, log in to your PayPal account and visit Alternate Address Confirmation.

How long does it take to get a refund?

Once the item is returned to our warehouse, a refund will be processed. The refund could take 7 to 10 business days to be processed and returned to your credit card.
